What is the difference between magic mushrooms and truffles?

Magic mushrooms and magic truffles contain the same active compound: psilocybin. Mushrooms are the above-ground fruiting bodies, truffles are underground sclerotia. Learn more in our mushrooms vs truffles comparison.

Which products are suitable for beginners?

For beginners we recommend the Golden Teacher mushroom grow kit — this Psilocybe cubensis variety is mild and forgiving. For truffles, Psilocybe mexicana is an ideal choice. Read our mushroom strain guide for more information.

How are your products tested for quality?

Every product in our smartshop is checked before going on sale. Our kratom products are batch-tested for mitragynine content and microbiological purity at our own factory in West Kalimantan. Truffles are cultivated under laboratory conditions and tested for psilocybin content. Grow kits contain 100% mycelium produced under sterile conditions.
