Turnera Diffusa Concentrated Leaf Extract
Damiana extract is a concentrated liquid form of the traditional Mexican herb Turnera diffusa. The Maya and Aztec cultures used damiana for centuries for various purposes, from mood enhancement to boosting energy and libido. This extract offers a convenient, potent way to benefit from the active compounds without having to brew tea.

Usage
Shake well before use. 5-8 drops, up to 2 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. How does damiana extract differ from dried damiana leaves?
Damiana extract is a concentrated liquid in which the active compounds from the leaves have been dissolved in alcohol. This makes it faster-acting and more potent than dried leaves. You may feel the first effects within 15-20 minutes, whereas tea from dried leaves needs 30-60 minutes. The extract is also more convenient: a few drops in water or juice is all you need. Dried leaves offer more versatility for smoking, tea, or herbal blends.
How many drops of damiana extract for a noticeable effect?
Start with 5 drops in a glass of water or juice and build up to a maximum of 8 drops per serving. Take the extract no more than twice daily. The effects are subtle: a feeling of warmth, mild relaxation, and possibly elevated mood. Can damiana extract be combined with catuaba or other libido herbs?
Damiana and catuaba are traditionally used together in Brazilian herbal medicine and complement each other well. Damiana works more on mood and relaxation, while catuaba promotes blood circulation. Start with lower doses of both when combining. Other good pairings include damiana with maca for extra endurance. Avoid combining with pharmaceutical erectile dysfunction medications.
