Ground whole herb with a soft, balanced profile

Kanna ST is not a concentrated extract, but the whole aerial herb of Sceletium tortuosum, coarsely ground and dried. That puts it close to the way kanna has traditionally been used in South Africa. The natural alkaloid content is a minimum of 1.5%, in a soft, rounded profile of 60% mesembrine, 35% mesembrenone and 5% Δ7-mesembrenone.

Because this is the whole herb rather than an amplified single alkaloid, the effect is soft and mild, a calm tone in which the clear mesembrine and the more relaxing mesembrenone are present together. ST is therefore a nice starting point for getting to know kanna in its most natural form, without the strength of the powder extracts.

The herb is coarsely ground, green to brown in colour and not soluble in water; the recommended serving is 200 mg. Handling and storage

Kanna ST Herba is a dietary supplement for adults: take 1 serving a day and start at the lowest amount to gauge your response. The recommended serving is 200 mg. The herb is coarsely ground and not soluble; traditionally kanna was chewed, and today it is also brewed as a tea or taken in a capsule. Do not combine with alcohol, MAO inhibitors (MAOIs) or SSRIs. Consult your doctor first if you have a medical condition or take medication. Not under 18, keep out of reach of children. Store airtight, dark and dry at 15–25°C.

What is the difference between ST Herba and an extract?

Is ST stimulating or relaxing?
