Kanna ET4 is the strongest extract in Kanna UC's Exponent range. With at least 6.5% total alkaloids, 95% of which is mesembrine, it is the most concentrated mesembrine powder in the line-up. The highest alkaloid content in the Exponent range
Kanna ET4 sits at the top of the Exponent range: three mesembrine-rich Sceletium tortuosum extracts that share the same profile (95% mesembrine, 4% mesembrenone, 1% Δ7-mesembrenone) but climb in strength. ETB starts at 2.5% total alkaloids, ET2 sits at 5%, and ET4 leads with a minimum of 6.5%. You therefore need even less per serving: the recommended amount is just 10 mg.
That strong mesembrine dominance gives ET4 a clear, upbeat and energetic character. Mesembrine acts as a natural serotonin reuptake inhibitor; at this content the effect feels direct and pronounced. ET4 therefore sits well over on the stimulating side of the kanna spectrum, made for the experienced user who seeks the bright side of kanna and doses deliberately low.
The powder is very finely milled, light beige and dissolves well in water. Kanna UC produces ET4 in an FDA-approved, PIC/S and GMP certified facility; it is 100% organic, vegan and non-GMO. The alkaloid profile is established by TLC and HPLC, with an accompanying Certificate of Analysis. Because it is so concentrated, weighing accurately with a milligram scale matters.

Handling and storage
Kanna ET4 is a dietary supplement for adults: take 1 serving a day and start at the lowest amount to gauge your response. The recommended serving is 10 mg; because it is so concentrated, a scale accurate to 1 mg is needed. Dissolve the powder under the tongue or in a cold to lukewarm drink. Do not combine with alcohol, MAO inhibitors (MAOIs) or SSRIs. Consult your doctor first if you have a medical condition or take medication. Not under 18, keep out of reach of children. Store airtight, dark and dry at 15–25°C.

How much stronger is ET4 than ET2 and ETB?

Mainly those who already have experience with kanna and deliberately seek the clear, energetic side. New to it? ETB or ET2 is a gentler starting point. Always start low and build up carefully.
Why is the serving only 10 mg?
With a minimum alkaloid content of 6.5%, little material is needed for a noticeable effect. An accurate milligram scale is therefore important to weigh out your serving properly.
Is ET4 stimulating or relaxing?
