History
Chaga has been used by the Ainu people of Eastern Asia for at least 600 years, but possibly for as long as millennia. Indigenous tribes use it for its antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Since its discovery it has also been used as an adaptogen to help enhance the body's response to stress, illness and serious disorders.
In ancient texts, chaga is referred to as 'The king of herbs', 'The diamond of the forest', and 'The gift of nature' for its ability to heal and to promote general health, as well as for its unique composition of active compounds.

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a mushroom that grows on birch trees in cold climates such as Siberia. In ancient texts, it is referred to as 'The king of herbs' and 'The diamond of the forest' due to its exceptionally rich composition of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. How do you use chaga liquid mushroom extract?
Take 1 to 3 drops of the chaga extract daily, preferably sublingually (under the tongue) for rapid absorption. You can also add it to a cup of tea or warm water. The extract contains 32% alcohol as a preservative and extraction medium. Start with a low dosage and gradually increase. For optimal effect, consistent daily use over a longer period is recommended.
What is chaga's ORAC value and why does it matter?
ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity and measures a substance's ability to neutralise free radicals. Chaga has one of the highest ORAC values of any natural product, meaning it is exceptionally rich in antioxidants. Additionally, chaga contains SOD (superoxide dismutase), an enzyme that helps protect cells from oxidative damage. This combination makes chaga a powerful supplement for your immunity.
Can chaga extract be combined with other mushroom supplements?
Yes, chaga is often combined with other medicinal mushrooms such as lion's mane, reishi, or cordyceps for a broader spectrum of health support. Each mushroom has its own unique active compounds that can complement each other. When combining, wait at least 30 minutes between different extracts.
