Zaphir Sufi Chime - Meditation Wind Chime with Mystical Eastern Tones

The Sufi Chime, tuned to F A D F A G A D, weaves a soundscape that feels timeless: calm, meditative, and unhurried. The tones follow one another like a mantra gently repeated, steady yet subtly shifting. The result is an atmosphere that invites stillness and deeper presence.

Its resonance is understated but profound. The Sufi fills the room with nuance rather than volume, making it particularly effective in settings where quiet and subtlety matter most: during meditation, breathwork, or closing a sound journey. The tones help quiet mental chatter and ease the transition into a more inward state.

Each Sufi Chime is handmade in France. The metal rods are silver-welded and finely tuned so the overtones merge into a flowing harmony. The resonance tube follows the proportions of the golden ratio, enhancing the natural balance of the sound. The outer surface is finished with a marbled color design, making every piece unique.

Main features: Timeless, meditative sound. Handmade in France from sustainable materials. Compact and lightweight with a refined resonance. Each chime has its own unique character.

What makes the Sufi special?

★ Meditative depth

Its tones flow gently into one another, without sharp peaks or breaks. This makes the Sufi ideal for deepening silence and supporting a meditative state.

★ Versatile use

Because its sound is not tied to a season, the Sufi adapts to many contexts. From breathwork to sound healing, from personal reflection to group sessions — it always provides a subtle, calming background.

Practical use

The Sufi Chime can be played while hanging or held in the hand. A gentle movement of the pendulum sets the tones in motion. Use it at the beginning of a meditation to let go of thoughts, during breathwork to support the rhythm, or at the end of a session to return to silence.

Why is the Zaphir Sufi ideal for breathwork and meditation?

The Sufi is tuned to F A D F A G A D, a deliberately timeless and season-independent scale. Its tones flow into one another like a softly repeated mantra, without sharp transitions or peaks. This steady, cyclical quality helps calm the nervous system and makes it easier to direct attention inward. Many breathwork and meditation facilitators choose the Sufi precisely because its sound can remain in the background effortlessly, supporting the inner process without creating distraction.

How does the Zaphir Sufi compare to the Twilight and Blue Moon?

While all three chimes share a calming quality, they differ in pitch and atmosphere. The Sufi has a neutral, timeless tone that works in any context throughout the year. The Twilight produces a warmer, more sustained sound that specifically supports relaxation and letting go. The Blue Moon offers a deeper, more spacious resonance strongly associated with introspection and dreamwork. Can you hang the Zaphir Sufi outdoors?

The Sufi is primarily designed as an indoor instrument, but you can hang it in a sheltered outdoor location such as under a covered porch or veranda. Prolonged exposure to rain and direct sunlight may affect the ecological finish on the exterior. The tuning of the metal rods is highly stable and will not be easily affected by weather conditions, but for the longest lifespan we recommend using the chime mainly indoors or bringing it back inside after use.
