This incense has no wooden stick as core. It's literally compressed herbs formed into a solid stick. That makes a huge difference in what you smell during burning - you get only the scent of the herbs, without wood smoke underneath. For some, that's clearer, cleaner.
The production is labor-intensive. Herbs are dried, ground into powder, mixed with natural binding agents and water, kneaded into a paste, and then hand-rolled into sticks. These must then dry for weeks before they can be used. The result is fragile - handle them carefully.
What's in it? Traditional Tibetan herbs whose exact composition varies by producer. Some use lots of juniper, others focus on medicinal plants like artemisia or cypress. The scent is green, herbal, sometimes slightly bitter. It doesn't smell sweet or floral - more like a walk through mountain meadows.

Outdoors: plant the stick firmly in sand or soil, or use a heavy holder that won't blow over. One stick burns 15-25 minutes.
