This shredded Palo Santo consists of small pieces and shavings of naturally aged Bursera graveolens wood from Peru. Due to the reduced size, the wood has a larger surface area, allowing it to smolder faster and release more intense smoke than whole sticks.
The shredded form offers more flexibility in use. You can dose precisely how much you burn, and the material can be applied in various ways. The aroma is identical to Palo Santo sticks: warm, sweet, and resinous, but the smoke development is more powerful due to the larger surface area.
