Ground Bursera Graveolens - Shredded Holy Wood for Resin Blends
This shredded Palo Santo consists of small pieces and shavings of naturally aged Bursera graveolens wood from Peru. Due to the reduced size, the wood has a larger surface area, allowing it to smolder faster and release more intense smoke than whole sticks.
The shredded form offers more flexibility in use. You can dose precisely how much you burn, and the material can be applied in various ways. The aroma is identical to Palo Santo sticks: warm, sweet, and resinous, but the smoke development is more powerful due to the larger surface area.

Use and application
Place a self-lighting charcoal disc in a fireproof dish with sand. Light and wait until the charcoal glows completely. Sprinkle a teaspoon of shredded Palo Santo on the glowing charcoal. The material will immediately begin to smolder and release fragrant smoke. Gradually add more when the smoke decreases. Alternative: place the material in a special incense burner with a tea light underneath. The heat is then less intense, creating a more subtle aroma.
