Our Own Kratom Factory in Indonesia

We are immensely proud to be producing our own Kratom. In this way, we can ensure quality and purity in the production process, as well as contribute to the local community of farmers in Indonesia. Read our Kratom success story here!

Where is our Kratom produced, and how does it happen?

The leaves come from community plantations around the city of Jongkong – Putussibau; this area is a green zone, located in the Sentarum Lake National Park area. It has a rich Alluvial soil texture, so Kratom trees grow very fertile. This area is most suitable for growing Mitragyna speciosa – the tropical Kratom tree thrives in warm and humid environments and can grow higher than 18 meters and wider than 4.5 meters. The average age of Kratom trees that are ready to be harvested is around 6-15 years.

How are Kratom leaves collected?

To collect the leaves, careful observation and a good sense of timing are needed. The harvest is done manually starting from 7 am to 1 pm, and only old leaves are picked to achieve high levels of Mitragynine.

Throughout the kratom tree’s life cycle, it undergoes significant changes. After the tree has reached peak growth, these changes continue. This can have a powerful impact on the resulting crop of kratom leaves. The most important of these factors relates to the colour of the kratom leaves’ stems and veins. The veins of the leaves can be coloured in white, red, or green.

We have collaborated with good friends of ours who overlook the growing process in Indonesia and collect the leaves carefully by hand when the time is right.

Our Kratom trees are never damaged or cut down, but sometimes they require pruning, aiming to regenerate leaves so that trees do not grow up, but grow sideways and become lush, which makes the harvesting process much easier.

Sustainable Kratom

In order to uphold our commitment to sustainability and maintain the balance of our plantation, we have instituted a bi-monthly harvesting schedule to give the land and plants time to recover.

At the start of each month, our hardworking farmers harvest in one area, let's call it Area A. After they're done, they give Area A a break to naturally regenerate and flourish. By the end of the month, they move over to another spot, Area B, to do the same thing. Splitting the harvest this way gives both areas a chance to bounce back. It's all about not taking too much at once so we avoid overharvesting.

Our farmers are also careful about the quantity of the harvest to keep everything balanced. This way, we look after the land while supplying you with the highest quality kratom.

Once the leaves have been collected, sorted, and gone through a quality check, it is time for them to go through a drying process. Different powders can be produced depending on the length and the method of the drying, therefore, the drying of Kratom can happen either indoors or outdoors.

Once the leaves have been thoroughly dried, it is time to crush them into a finer consistency. During this process, clean and high-quality equipment is ensured to maintain good hygiene. Each batch from our factory is then tested in a test lab to check for potential impurities.

Once we get to an end product that has gone through growing, harvesting, drying, grinding, testing, packaging, and labelling, we can proudly say that we have put our hearts into our Kratom powder.

Each year we personally visit our factory in Indonesia to ensure the quality of our product remains at its highest standard and to evaluate the facility for any improvements that might be necessary to maintain this standard. We operate closely with local communities, promoting fair trade and providing employment opportunities. We make sure to take care of our farmers by providing a safe working environment as well as consistent coaching and counselling, and in return, they take good care of the Kratom trees.

By choosing to purchase your Kratom from us, you're not only securing a superior product for yourself, but you're also making a valuable contribution to the local farming community in Indonesia. These hardworking individuals take immense pride in their work, and your support helps ensure they can continue to thrive in their roles, which is a benefit to us all.
