V-Shaped Bamboo Tepi for Two-Person Rapé Ceremony

The V-shape of this tepi is functionally chosen. It gives you more grip and control during application, especially helpful when using the tepi for someone else. The two tubes run in a V-pattern toward each other, which feels natural in your hand. This tepi is entirely bamboo and finished here in the Netherlands.

Bamboo has the advantage of maintaining its shape well and doesn't become heavy over time. The inside of the tubes is smooth, allowing rapé to flow through easily without sticking. The weight is low enough to hold for extended periods without your hand getting tired.

Key Features: V-shape for stable grip and control. Made and finished in the Netherlands. Lightweight bamboo construction. Smooth inner tubes for easy flow.

How to Use a Tepi

For two-person use, the receiver sits relaxed with their head tilted slightly back. The giver holds one end to the receiver's nose, the other end goes in the giver's mouth. After placing the rapé in the receiver's section, blow through in one motion. Timing and communication between both people is important for a pleasant experience.

Use and Care

Rinse the tepi directly after use under lukewarm water or clean with our tepi brush. Let it dry completely before storing. Bamboo can crack with extreme temperature changes, so avoid hot water. Store in a dry place out of the sun.

What is the difference between a tepi and a kuripe?

A kuripe is for self-use, a tepi is for two-person use. With a tepi, the giver blows the rapé through one end into the receiver\'s nostril. This V-shaped bamboo tepi is specifically designed for a stable grip during administration. Read more about rapé traditions in our guide on how rapé is made.

Why does this tepi have a V-shape?

The V-shape gives you more control and grip during the ceremony. The two tubes run toward each other in a natural pattern, so the tepi sits firmly in your hand. This is especially important during longer sessions where precision and comfort are essential.

How do you maintain a bamboo tepi?

Rinse the inside directly after use with lukewarm water or clean with a tepi brush. Avoid hot water, as bamboo can crack with extreme temperature changes. Let the tepi dry completely and store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
