Remove the magic mushroom grow kit from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature (no longer than 2 hours). Remove the lid and use a clean fork to gently make 6-8 rows of holes in the top of the substrate - this helps with better water absorption. Fill the grow container with lukewarm water (20°C) to the brim and close the lid. Let the substrate soak for 30-60 minutes (minimum 5 minutes, maximum 1 hour). Then pour off the excess water by tilting the kit and let it drain for about 10 seconds.
Place the psilocybin mushroom grow kit in the supplied grow bag with 0.25L of lukewarm water (20°C) at the bottom (not in direct contact with the substrate).
