The Kambo stick from the Matses Tribe holds the harvest of the Phyllomedusa Bicolor frog. The Kambo stick produces around 60 till 90 dots. Kambo has been used by many indigenous tribes for thousands of years. Our sticks come directly from the Matses tribal tribe from Peru in the Amazon jungle. The sticks are pure male frog extractions and are stronger than the standard mixed male/female sticks.
Phyllomedusa Bicolor - Kambo | Matses Tribe
Kambo is a secession of the frog that lives in the trees of the Amazon rainforest called Phyllomedusa Bicolor. The more common names are the Giant Monkey Tree Frog or Giant Leaf Frog.
Kambo is a traditional medicine used by the Amazonian tribes. Tribes have traditionally used this medicine for strength and focus for hunting and body cleansing. The frogs are carefully treated during the harvesting process.
The harvesting process
The material is harvested from the frogs at sunrise. A mating song is performed by the collector and the frogs come out of the trees slowly.
The frogs are very passive and feel comfortable when they are picked up. Subsequently, a cord is tied to each leg in such a way that the frog experiences little to no stress during harvesting. The material is carefully extracted from the back of the Kambo Frog, afterwards, it is dried on small sticks.
It is taken into account how much poison the frog needs if it has to defend itself anyway. After releasing the frog, it returns to its habitat quietly and peacefully. The strings leave small white prints on the frog. When someone sees the print, he or she knows that the frog was recently milked and the frog is left alone. The white print fades in about 3 months when it is safe to milk the frog again. The frog is always treated with the utmost care and respect. The locals believe that damaging the frog can make the animal spirits (with which they live so closely) angry.
Preparation and the use of Kambo

First empty stomach, use Kambo during full moon at daylight. The right intentions, 2 L mineral water, lighter or candles. Blankets the best spot on earth you know of! Half an hour before you make the spots on your body, drink 1 1/2 L water put some nice music on and make the Kambo stick a bit wet (just the part you want to use about ? ,dots will come of the stick the size I just showed you. Let the small stick that’s included burn just the tip of it. Use your breath to let it burn like chalk coal No fire ?. Mark the spots quickly after every spot let the coal on your stick burn for the next. If everyone has there spots take your thin part of the burned skin off. When it’s white color skin, you did it right. Make enough kambo by using a small knife and a thee spoon. Make about six or seven dots for every person. To make sure the kambo/water mixture is okay it had to be as sticky if it would come out of your nose (?). Put the dots on twoxtwo. Millimeters flat when you put it on. When there all put into place. Use some bandages to keep the dots on the spots. Place the dots quickly and the bandage too. Give everybody some off there own space after the kambo start (that’s right away) keep 1/2 L water with you. Happy vomiting everyone ?? remember that what will come up hade to be that way. After twenty minutes take the bandage off. Some people have a bit of a swollen mouth ( That’s called the Kiss of the Frog) You’re all will feel stronger than ever before within one and a half hour you will feel the energy frequency of the Amazon ?
