Shabong Water Pipe Medium - Portable Glass Bong with Water Filtration

A shabong is essentially a mini water pipe that you hold and use like a regular pipe. The principle is simple but effective: smoke passes through a layer of water before you inhale it. This cools the smoke and filters out the coarsest particles.

This medium variant has a height of 10 centimeters - large enough for a substantial water chamber, but small enough to take anywhere. The glass is transparent, so you can see exactly when the chamber fills with smoke. The bowl sits at the top, the downstem runs down into the water, and there's a small air hole on the side.

Key Features: Combines water pipe principle with handy pipe shape. Water filtration cools smoke and filters particles. Transparent glass shows when chamber is full. 10cm height is ideal for daily use. Easy to fill and clean.

Use and Dosage

Fill the water chamber to about 1-2 centimeters high - just enough to cover the bottom of the downstem. Place your dried herbs in the bowl on top. Hold your finger on the air hole on the side, light the bowl and draw gently. You'll see the smoke bubble through the water and fill the chamber. When the chamber is full of smoke, remove your finger from the hole and inhale. Empty and rinse the water after each use.

What is a shabong and how does it differ from a regular bong?

A shabong is a hybrid between a pipe and a bong. You hold and use it like a pipe, but inside there is a water chamber that filters and cools the smoke just like a bong does. The main difference from a standard bong is the compact size and the way you hold it, giving you the water filtration benefits of a bong with the portability of a pipe.

How much water should you put in a shabong?

Fill the water chamber with 1 to 2 centimeters of water, just enough so the bottom of the downstem sits below the waterline. Too much water makes drawing harder and increases the chance of water splashing into your mouth. Too little water means the smoke will not be filtered. Replace the water after every session to maintain a clean flavour.

Is a shabong easy to travel with?

At only 10 centimeters tall, this shabong fits into virtually any bag or backpack. Empty the water completely before packing and wrap it in a cloth or sock for protection. Compared to a standard bong, the shabong is far more portable while still giving you the benefit of water-cooled smoke on the go.
