Blue Lotus Flower Leaves | Calmness, Serenity and Mood

The Blue Lotus Flower (Nymphaea caerulea), also known as Blue Egyptian water lily was considered a sacred plant back in the Ancient Egypt and used traditionally throughout many important rituals, ceremonies, and celebrations. It is a waterplant that grows on riversides, and lakes in Egypt, East Africa, and Asia.

Blue Lotus Flower Effects
Sit back, relax, and enjoy experiencing the pleasant, soothing effects of the Blue Lotus Flower. Consuming it in smaller doses is a great way to reduce anxiety, stress, and finally be able to fall asleep with ease while enjoying wonderfully colourful dreams with easy dream recollection in the morning. In higher doses, especially combined with wine, Blue Lotus Flower will give you an aphrodisiac effect, and you may experience one of the best nights in your life. Blue Lotus Flower can also be mildly psychoactive, creating an euphoric, satisfying feeling.

Blue Lotus Flower Tea Recipe
Place a few Blue Lotus Flower leaves (approximately 2 tablespoons) in hot water and let it steep there for around 10 minutes. Notice the petals turning to an almost white colour, while the tea itself becomes beautifully golden.

How To Make Blue Lotus Flower Wine
To create Blue Lotus Flower Wine, you will need Blue Lotus Flower leaves, and a bottle of your favourite wine. Traditionally, red wine has been used as it seems to create the best taste, but you can also do this with a white wine of your choice. Since Blue Lotus Flower has a bitter taste, it is best to go for sweeter, more fruity wines to balance it out.

The amount of Blue Lotus Flowers you’ll add depends on how potent you want this wine to be. You can do anything from 5 to 20 grams, and simply soak the flowers into the wine, close it again, shake it around a little, and let it sit for a few hours or days. The longer you'll keep it in the bottle, the more potent (but also, bitter) your wine willl be. To make it easy, we recommend starting with 5 grams, and testing it out for yourself tastewise, and also potency-wise. Keep in mind that in higher doses, the Blue Egyptian water lily can be mildly hallucinogenic, and create a euphoric feeling.

Our Blue Lotus Flower leaves are available in 20, 50, and 1000 grams. We hope you enjoy it!
