The original Agua de FLORIDA is made in Peru based on Peruvian sugar cane alcohol. There is a cheaper variant based on Eau de Cologne. These cheaper variant has a complete different composition, smells a lot less fresh and energetic. It is not as powerful as the original Agua de FLORIDA. Most shamans use the original Agua de Florida for their cleaning rituals and ceremonies.
The label of both bottles is very similar to each other, that is why there is some confusion sometimes. If you want to be sure you had the original variant, you can see this on the label. The original has Agua de FLORIDA in blue letters.
