Bobinsana | Calliandra angustifolia | Plant Teacher

Bobinsana is one of the master plant teachers. He is known for his stimulating effects and ability to open the heart to compassion, strength and guidance of spirit. Bobinsana is native to South America and is found throughout the Amazon in the countries of Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia and Brazil. The Shipibo shamanic traditions along the Ucayali River call the plant Semein. The plant has various medicinal applications, but also spiritual qualities.

The Bobinsana plant, from the Mimosa family, is a plant that loves water and can be found next to rivers in the Amazon (Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil and Bolivia). This plant is usually between 4 and 6 meters high.
